Tianjin and JD.COM Build Intelligent Logistics Industrial Cluster Base
CIRE Boosts the 100 Billion-Yuan Industry
To respond to the coordinated development for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and the “Belt and Road” construction, Tianjin and JD Group built the “JD Intelligent Logistics Industrial Cluster and National New AI Application Demonstration Base” (hereinafter referred to as the “Industrial Cluster Base”) together. Recently, the People’s Government of Tianjin Binhai New Area, TEDA Management Committee, and JD Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, declaring that they will start the project of “one base and one center, two demonstrations and two platforms”.
As per the agreement, the two parties will build “one base and one center, two demonstrations and two platforms” together, namely, the intelligent logistics equipment R&D base and industrial cluster, national new AI demonstration and application engineering center, national first intelligent logistics upgrading service platform, intelligent technology city new model demonstration area, new intelligent port demonstration area, and civilian-military integration two-way S&T Transfer Platform. Through this construction, JD.COM will establish an intelligent R&D manufacturing base integrating R&D, manufacturing, testing, operation and talent training and form an ecological closed-loop of intelligent logistics industry chain development.
At the early stage of the industrial cluster base project, the R&D test base for such unmanned technology products as the unmanned warehouse, unmanned vehicle and unmanned machine will be set up and industrial production will be realized by them. After that, JD channels and upstream & downstream ecological chain aggregation advantages will be played, so as to create the large comprehensive intelligent logistics industrial cluster.
It is said that JD intelligent logistics will cover the whole industrial chain. On the one hand, intelligent logistics robots will be produced during the “1122’ Project; on the other, related R&D, manufacturing, operation and upgrading will also energize the “intelligent logistics cities and towns”.
China’s largest robot exhibition to be held in Tianjin in March 2018 will boost the development of intelligent manufacturing.
The 7th Tianjin International Robot Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as “CIRE”) sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Machinery Sub-Council and Zhenwei Exhibition Corp. will be held on March 15-18, 2018 at Tianjin Convention & Exhibition Center. Rooted in Tianjin - one of the national advanced R&D manufacturing bases throughout China, CIRE has been successfully held for 6 times, with the exhibition area increasing from the first 4,000 sqm to the present 18,000 sqm. The number of exhibitors has increased by 300% and 25% of them come from overseas. With the world’s four robot families participating in it, CIRE has been honored as the largest robot exhibition in China by insiders for many times.
CIRE2018 will gather more than 300 famous exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions around the world, including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Staubli, Kawasaki, Siemens, Panasonic, OTC, Universal, GSK, STEP, ESTUN, HIT, HIWIN, etc. By then, over 30,000 visitors and 100 purchase groups will gather at CIRE2018, which will guarantee the on-site technological exchanges, trade cooperation and transaction concluding.
Tianjin Binhai New Area is expected to realize the industrial cluster worth 100 billion yuan around 2021. Gathering high-end equipment, experts, scholars, enterprise seniors, technicians, and professional users in Tianjin, CIRE will effectively promote the opening and enabling level of all links in the intelligent logistics ecological chain, propel the integration of intelligent logistics into finance, medicine, hi-tech and other industries, and attract talents in fields representing the future trend like AI, robot, intelligent logistics, etc., thus boosting the development of this industry.
CIRE2018 is recruiting exhibitors at present. Please contact the Organizing Committee as soon as possible if you are interested.
